HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?If you're ready to book in, want to meet with me for an obligation free consult, or would like more information on anything at all, just click on the menu tab that says 'CONTACT' and fill in the form. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Wherever possible, I'll meet with you in person first, then arrange to take payment of a session fee to lock in a date for your portraits.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?I'm based in the northern Brisbane suburb of Bracken Ridge. Travel outside of Brisbane for sessions is available by negotiation.

WHAT'S YOUR PROCESS LIKE?Your portrait experience with me is a completely custom process from beginning to end, and is perfect for those who are wanting a high level of service and quality. It includes: • a planning consultation in the lead up to your portraits • my time and talent at your session • hand editing of your images with beautiful custom artwork in mind • a personal viewing and ordering appointment scheduled for 3 - 4 weeks following your session, and • the delivery of your new portrait artwork, to your door. Delivering your beautiful custom print products is one of the highlights of the entire portrait experience for me. It's the whole reason you'll enquire with me in the first place, and I just love seeing the expression of your family's connection come to life in prints you'll fall in love with. There really is nothing quite like seeing your own works of family art on the walls of your home, and in heirloom quality photo albums you can enjoy with a generation you haven't even met yet. Booking enquiries are 100% obligation free, so please feel comfortable contacting me for more information.

WHY PRODUCTS?We're living in a time where there are more photographs taken, and less and less printed and displayed where we'll see them regularly, than ever before. I believe that beautiful portraits are an investment, and that they deserve to be seen and enjoyed every day, not lost on an old hard drive or buried in a Facebook gallery. That’s why I've sought out the very best print labs in the country and around the world, and I work with them to turn your portraits into physical pieces of art. Pieces that will make a statement in your home and take you back to a moment in time you would otherwise not have remembered.

WHAT ABOUT PRICING?I know how this all works. I know you're looking for a photographer to capture a life stage that can't be missed, or you've just been putting off having portraits taken of your (incredible!) family for way too long and you don't want to do that anymore. I know you've had a look through my galleries, decided I take nice pictures (thank you!), and now you want to know how much this is going to cost. And for good reason. Cost is typically the number one deciding factor in choosing a photographer. I do get it. However, I can't effectively put into words on a price sheet the 'why' behind how hiring me is going to be different to other family portrait experiences. So I can give you a bit of a starting point for what you can tell your partner you're likely to spend (cause I know how that works too!), but I do want you to feel comfortable enquiring about an obligation free consult, where we can chat about what your ideal portrait session looks like, what types of artwork you're interested in, and any budget ideas you have. I'll make a time to come out and meet you, and your partner if you have one, bring product samples with me to show you both, and we'll go over complete product pricing then. Meeting Dad before the day is also a great way to get him excited about the beautiful quality of the artwork you'll be investing in together, and it helps him feel more relaxed with me during the session as well (so you'll get great smiles from him too!). So that you have something to work with for now though: • my session fee is $295 • there is no minimum spend, so you'll only purchase the images you love from your finished gallery, and • typically the families I work with spend anywhere between $1200 and $3400 on custom artwork and digital files from the day of their portrait session. Your pre-session consultation is totally obligation free.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BOOKING A NEWBORN SESSION?If you're browsing my site because you're expecting - congratulations! Choosing a photographer for baby's first portraits is so important, and wherever possible I'll arrange to meet with you and your partner before you book me in so we can be sure we're a great fit for each other. Your booking will be scheduled loosely around your expected due date, with the actual session date only locked in once baby has arrived. I like to photograph new bubs within the first three weeks of life, and you'll want to remember just how tiny they were too, so keep that in mind when making contact with me about a newborn session. Everything else you need to know to prepare for your portrait date will be explained in person at your pre-session consult, and via a session guide you'll be sent prior to the day of your portraits (because baby brain is a thing!). Until then, you can take a look at the Newborn Gallery on the 'GALLERIES' page for a little more information about my lifestyle newborn sessions.

Your portrait experience is really all about you, and I can't wait to meet your family. But so you'll know we're going to get along well, here's a little something about me..

I'm a mother of two spunky tween girls and a total introvert. I love spending time with great friends, online shopping in a really good sale (even if I do just fill up my cart, then close the browser window), crime shows and conspiracy documentaries, acoustic covers, singing, and savoury over sweet almost any day of the week (did you say hot chips and gravy?). My love for visually beautiful things can turn browsing pinterest into a total time-suck, and my kids' parties into full blown themed affairs. And although I potentially spend more time than I should binge-watching something gritty on Netflix, I'm also very much a quality time kinda girl. If you can’t handle me bursting into song randomly or turning something you just said into a movie line said, I’m not sure we can be friends, and I honestly think by now that my girls just assume this is something everybody does. Sarcasm is my second language, and I love a good laugh.

I first started my photography journey on a base model DSLR just before my eldest daughter was born. Back then, I just wanted to be able to take half-decent photos of my new baby. I had no idea I'd be sparking within myself a passion for documenting human existence. We moved from Brisbane, where I grew up, to Canberra in February 2015 and my blossoming business moved too. Difficult life circumstances (and COVID) got in the way of what I love to do, but we're back home now after 8 years in the nation's capital, and I'm able to be back doing what I love to do. These days I specialise in lifestyle (read: not staged and heavily posed) family and newborn portraits; on location in natural light and in the homes of the families I photograph. I'm all about capturing connection in the moments that make you laugh and that take your breath away.

I'm so looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your ideal session.
